      <image:title>books - Wonderland</image:title>
<image:caption>May 5, 1971 was the day that put the Shaw brothers, Owen, River, and Elias, and the Sahar twins, Athena and Katrine, on a trajectory they couldn’t avoid after tragedy struck the Sahar household. Living as next-door neighbors for the last three years, they didn’t know a single thing about each other except the rumors that ran rampant throughout their small town of Hickory Falls, Virginia. The Shaws were a legacy in Hickory Falls, owning the most popular restaurants in town, much to Elias’ dismay, who was itching to get away from the family business. The Sahars were relatively new and too quirky for the traditional town, especially Athena, who dreamed of bigger and better worlds without the guilt of what happened weighing her down. Elias and Athena develop a deep connection over late night snacks and conversations about their lives. Soon, they tumble headfirst into love, causing a ripple effect none of them ever expected.</image:caption>

<image:caption>Raveena Alam is the youngest born to two Bangladeshi immigrants in Phoenix, Arizona, in 1995. She began writing what she thought was prose at the young age of 11 with her friends and her passion continued beyond college, where she studied Supply Chain Management at Arizona State University. On February 15, 2020, Raveena published her first novel, WONDERLAND, through Kindle Direct Publishing. Currently, she’s working on her next novel. During the pandemic, she was introduced to the world of screenwriting and went on to co-write a feature film called THE KNOCK. Her short script, WHEN I DESPAIR, has won awards and is a Quarterfinalist in the Atlanta Film Festival. Currently, she’s working on her next short script as well as a feature and keeping thousands more ideas at bay. When Raveena isn’t writing, she works at a non-profit organization in Los Angeles, California. She also has a Corgi/Chihuahua mix named Ramen, who rules her life.</image:caption>
